Design & Prototyping

Our technical team can draw upon many years’ know-how from the various disciplines that are vital in developing a successful moulded product. Coupled with mould design and pro-engineering design, the client’s design can be developed for optimum processing, resulting in the perfect combination of material, mould, manpower, and machine for efficient and cost-effective production.

Tooling & Molding

Exzone has an exclusive advantage that sets it apart from the standard injection moulding manufacturer. Our on-site tool and die manufacturing division allows us to reduce turnaround time on new production. Our objective to attain maximum production, minimum cycle time and prolonged mould life is achieved in one simple process.
 
The result is a mould that effectively withstands the rigorous demands of high-pressure injection moulding.
 
We have the state-of-the art manufacturing facility with more than 130 plastic injection moulding machines with clamping forces ranging from 25 tons to 3,300 tons. The machines provide precision and high precision moulding of up to 5 microns. We can run all types of resins from commodity to engineered grades, high temperature to filled materials.
 
Exzone is committed to improving productivity through automation and controlled environment. The presses are operated in an automatic mode to the highest extent possible. Parts are removed from the injection mould by robotics or conveyor systems. The outcome is a reliable, efficient, and cost effective system to improve the manufacturing process.
 
 
 

Assembly & Finishing

Complementing our moulding operations, Exzone has a fully equipped assembly division. We are pleased to supply sub-assemblies and complete assemblies, avoiding the need for additional operations to be carried out by the clients or other subcontractors.
 
We perform secondary operations, including vacuum metallizing, sputtering, automated spray painting, robotic spray painting, hot stamping, silk screen printing, laser marking, tempo printing, hot roll, induction and ultra-sonic welding for projects and products of every size from small to big. 
 
With heightened sensitivity, the added-on capabilities of the Cleanroom Facility and its high standards in Quality Control, allow for only the best products to be produced in Exzone.

CARBON FIBER

Himax® Chopped Fiber was a rather newly-innovated product from a Malaysian group of public listed company, under the umbrella of Luster Group, which is located in the Northern part of Malaysia.

Nonetheless, Himax® Chopped Fiber have evolved from over 30+ years of field experiences and research works, especially on the speciality of the sizing technology, in the aim to provide sustainability, improved mechanical & electrical performance, aside from excellent feed-ability to maximize distribution in the compound. We aim to create a high-tech product, significantly enhancing properties in thermoset and thermoplastic applications.

Himax® Chopped Fibers are carbon fiber with excellent mechanical, electrical and thermal properties. In general, carbon fiber provides extremely high strength and stiffness with low weight, excellent electrical and thermal conductivity and higher heat distortion, which make it an ideal solution, thanks to their easy-to-handle bundle sizes and modifications that allow for use in high-temperature thermoplastics.

Himax® Chopped Fibers are  7mm in length in cylindrical-shaped form and are suitable for low and high temperature thermoplastic compounding processes as well as batch pre-blends. They are also excellent for making plastics or other non-conductive materials electrically conductive, such as adhesives, resin systems, coatings and specialty paper.

Whilst Himax® Chopped Fiber is primarily focused on the compounding application, there are many other products which can be make possible, such as chopped fiber for thermoset resin, water dispersible sized, as well as un-sized etc.
